E-Waste Awareness Month at Roosevelt

During the month of November, the RU sustainability community is focusing on keeping electronic waste out of landfills! Items being targeted include phones, MP3/IPods, headphones, USB drives, electric razors, hair irons/blow dryers, computers, clocks, stereos, lamps, remotes, holiday lights, fans, kitchen accessories, video game accessories, and anything with an outlet cord or that requires batteries.

E-Waste Recycling bins, however, will no longer be in the previous locations around campus. If you have items to contribute, please collect within your department or college and contact Physical Resources for pick up.

For more information, contact Physical Resources at (312) 341-3600 or email Shannon Conway, Environmental Sustainability Student Associate (sconway01@roosevelt.edu).
