The outstanding local environmental nonprofit organization Friends of the Chicago River is accepting applications for internships to work in various capacities, particularly with their K-12 outdoor education program. They’re unpaid positions (as Friends has a small staff and does a lot of work through its volunteer network), but they make a high impact upon the public and are great learning opportunities for sustainability-minded undergrads.
