Winter is here in force, and it’s below 20 degrees in Chicago. Naturally, thoughts turn to . . . gardening! The planning process has started for springtime planting in the Wabash Rooftop Garden, located on the fifth floor of the Wabash Building at RU’s Chicago Campus. Involvement in the planning process, in brainstorming, and in physical planting, is welcomed and encouraged from all within the Roosevelt community.

The second planning meeting is Thursday, Jan. 15, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in WB 429. If you have any interest in helping out with this terrific project, please feel free to contact Rebecca Quesnell at rquesnell@roosevelt.edu, or feel free to stop by the Physical Resources Department in Wabash B16. And for more info, check out this recent blog post on the Wabash rooftop garden on the RU Green Campus website.
