Chicago Wilderness Videos Depict Excellence in Ecological Restoration Work in the Chicago Region

Chicago Wilderness recently honored seven organizations with its Excellence in Ecological Restoration Accreditation. This series of short videos highlights the importance of ecological restoration at these specific sites and throughout the Chicago Wilderness region.

  • Forest Preserve District of Kane County – Dick Young Forest Preserve
  • Forest Preserve District of Will County – Braidwood Dunes and Savanna Nature Preserve
  • Forest Preserves of Cook County – Powderhorn Prairie and Marsh Nature Preserve
  • Lake County Forest Preserves – Spring Bluff Forest Preserve
  • McHenry County Conservation District – North Branch Conservation Area
  • The Nature Conservancy of Illinois – Indian Boundary Prairies
