“Our World Underwater” Dive & Travel Expo this Weekend in Rosemont (Feb. 14-16)

This weekend is the annual Our World Underwater Dive and Travel Exposition in the Donald Stephens Center in Rosemont, IL. SUST adjunct professor Michele Hoffman-Trotter, an expert diver and dive instructor, will be giving an educational program on marine conservation with her colleague Annie Crawley of Dive Into Your Imagination. Hoffman-Trotter and Crawleywill be able to talk to teens and college students about the multitude of careers related to our Blue Planet.

Hoffman portraitThey will inform visitors of scholarships from the Women Divers Hall of Fame and Our World Underwater, photo and video contests to enter, and much more. Dive Into Your Imagination also will be distributing free parent and educator ocean guides. Hoffman-Trotter (right) and Crawley are collaborating on the marine science documentary film, Microcosm, a project on which several Roosevelt SUST majors are working as interns.
