RU: Fossil Free?

We at the Sustainability Studies program at Roosevelt University support the RU student-driven movement to have the university divest of its investments in fossil fuels. Four colleges in the US have already made this move, and according to the AASHE Bulletin dozens of student groups across the country are advocating on behalf of divestment at their institutions.

Fossil FreeThe RU community is currently engaged in a civil and vigorous dialogue on this issue that was initiated by the student group RISE as they recently met with President Middleton. For more information on this issue, please see the online petition Roosevelt University: Go Fossil Free! as well as the RU Fossil Free Facebook page.
