Good Food Festival / Chicago Food Policy Summit at UIC Forum this Week (Mar 14-16)

This Thursday thru Saturday, March 14-16, is a huge food/ag event at the UIC Forum in Chicago: The Good Food Festival. According to the festival’s website, “the Good Food Festival and Conference is the leading food event in the country! It includes a Financing Conference, Trade Show, School Food and Food Policy Summits, and a Saturday Festival that celebrates Good Food. There’s something for everyone!” CFPAC Logo

Occurring concurrently with this festival at UIC is the Chicago Food Policy Summit on March 15th, which is sponsored by the Chicago Food Policy Advisory Council.

Student discounts to these events are available! The reduced ticket price for students is $45 for two-day access (Thu/Fri) to the Festival.  Alternatively, there are also volunteer opportunities: volunteers sign up for a three-hour shift and receive access to events for the remainder of the day (excluding Localicious).
