This Thursday thru Saturday, March 14-16, is a huge food/ag event at the UIC Forum in Chicago: The Good Food Festival. According to the festival’s website, “the Good Food Festival and Conference is the leading food event in the country! It includes a Financing Conference, Trade Show, School Food and Food Policy Summits, and a Saturday Festival that celebrates Good Food. There’s something for everyone!”
Student discounts to these events are available! The reduced ticket price for students is $45 for two-day access (Thu/Fri) to the Festival. Alternatively, there are also volunteer opportunities: volunteers sign up for a three-hour shift and receive access to events for the remainder of the day (excluding Localicious).
