Saturday at 1pm, the Chicago Center for Green Technology (445 N. Sacramento Avenue) presents Steve Kooy from Haworth discussing sustainable materials and life cycle assessments.

When choosing materials of construction, how one chooses a sustainable material often depends on the information available. This session will discuss the critical thinking and informational resources required to make the best, most sustainable choice. The session will explore the use of eco-labels and life cycle assessments as tools to make better material choices. Haworth’s sustainable professional will provide real examples of materials choices made in the office furniture industry to make products more sustainable.
