Zip Car Car Sharing Service Begins Using Chevy Volts

The car sharing service ZipCar, is beginning to offer the use of Chevy Volts to its members.

Feel something electric in the air? It’s the new Chevy Volt Zipcars that just arrived in Chicago! You’ve been asking for them. Now they’re here! These electric cars are parked around the city and along the CTA rail system. To reserve one, search by model and pick Chevy Volt.

For more information on reserving a Volt through the service, click here. If you are interested in learning more about energy systems as they relate to transportation, Roosevelt seminars including SUST 320 Sprawl, Transportation, and Planning (offered this fall as a hybrid course online and in Schaumburg) and SUST 310 Energy and Climate Change (offered this fall downtown) may be of interest. For more information on these or any other of our courses, please visit our Sustainability Studies website, call 1-877-277-5978 (1-877-APPLY RU) or email applyRU@roosevelt.edu.
