Tomorrow morning from 9am-noon, the Chicago Center for Green Technology (445. N. Sacramento Blvd) hosts a free Energy Savings Fair.
Please join the Chicago Center for Green Technology (CCGT) for their first annual Energy Savings Fair – an open house featuring free talks, tours and exhibits designed to help Chicagoans become more energy efficient, reduce their utility bills and save money. Visitors can drop in for short talks on everything from energy basics and audits to home insulation and weatherization kits. Learn how to read a meter, analyze a utility bill, weatherize your home or business, and purchase energy saving appliances. In between talks, visitors can explore the exhibitor area to meet various local green businesses and groups. Door prizes, refreshments, give-aways and more will be available to attendees.
Those interested in CCGT’s green technologies can also participate in a guided tour of the facility- the first rehabilitated municipal building in the nation to receive a LEED Platinum rating by the US Green Building Council.
