Chicago Center for Green Technology Hosts “Green Walls” Tomorrow at 10am

The Chicago Center for Green Technology (445 N. Sacramento) hosts “Green Walls,” a lecture by Scott Mehaffey (Sage Botanic Media) tomorrow morning at 10.

Green walls are of tremendous interest to architects and building owners as a means of providing summer shade and reducing cooling costs. Green walls include many types of vertical gardens, with a wide range of costs and complexity. Scott will cover the basics of green walls, and describe various vertical garden systems, including relative costs and maintenance requirements.
