The CCGT’s “Green Tech U” Winter/Spring 2014 Session starts Jan 11

This winter, the Chicago Center for Green Technology at 445 N. Sacramento Ave. on the Near West Side offers a wide selection of workshops and lectures related to urban sustainability issues and practices through its Green Tech U program. For its first semester in 2014, CCGT has partnered with other outstanding educational organizations to offer you a wide variety of seminars. There are now seminars in our listings offered by the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, Rebuilding Exchange, and the Lurie Garden.

Classes offered through CCGT are free to Chicago residents. Some of the make-and-take classes offered through our partners have a small cost associated with them. Any workshops with fees are noted in their listing.

The CCGT facility is a model of sustainable urban site design and building re-use, and has been a frequent tour destination for students in the SUST program at RU over the past few years.
