Oak Park and River Forest Sustainable Teachers Network Will Meet Tuesday, February 28

PlanItGreen is organizing the first meeting of the Oak Park and River Forest Sustainable Teachers Network on Tuesday, February 28th at Seven Generations Ahead, located at 642 S. Lombard Ave., Oak Park from 4:00 – 5:00pm. The gathering will include teachers from Oak Park and River Forest public and private schools who are interested in developing and promoting strategies for incorporating sustainability-related curricula, program activities, and projects into classroom and after school learning. The group will also discuss ways to educate and support teachers about resources for projects related to renewable energy, school gardens, waste reduction, and more.
