This May, Roosevelt University’s Sustainability Studies program is excited to introduce a very special new course. Professor Greg Buckley presents SUST 390: Special Topics — Sustainability of the National Parks, centered around a 10-day trip to Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. Experience the diversity of wildlife in the park as you investigate how federal land management affects humans, plants and animals alike.
The course runs during the 4-week May 2011 term (considered part of the summer semester) and will include meetings at the Schaumburg campus as well as the trip to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. See Professor Buckley’s preview page for the course, including ways to contact him if you have questions about the course’s contents, logistics, or any other details.
Enrollment in this seminar is limited to 8 students, so let us know soon if you intend to participate in this unique opportunity. Registration for the summer term begins March 1. If you are interested in participating in the Sustainability Studies special topics course on national parks, contact Professor Buckley.
